Overview

Compliance and clarity for purpose-driven organisations

Not-for-profits face a compliance landscape all of their own — the ACNC, the ATO's NFP concessions, DGR endorsement and grant acquittals, often all at once. We help you meet every obligation while keeping more of your funding working toward your mission.

From small community associations to registered charities, we handle the reporting, the returns and the compliance so your board and volunteers can focus on impact. Concessions and obligations depend on your organisation's type and circumstances — we'll confirm exactly what applies to you.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Does my not-for-profit need to register with the ACNC?

Charities must register with the ACNC to access charity tax concessions and DGR status. Non-charitable NFPs don't register with the ACNC but have their own ATO obligations. We'll confirm which applies to you.

Is my not-for-profit exempt from income tax?

Many are, but it depends on the type of organisation. Since 2023–24, non-charitable NFPs with an active ABN must lodge an annual NFP self-review return with the ATO to confirm their exemption — we prepare and lodge this for you.

What is DGR endorsement and do we qualify?

Deductible Gift Recipient status lets donors claim a tax deduction for gifts to your organisation. Eligibility depends on your purpose and category — we assess it and manage the application.

What are our ongoing reporting obligations?

Registered charities lodge an Annual Information Statement with the ACNC and report according to their size tier; incorporated associations also report to their state regulator. We keep you compliant across all of them.
